This policy explains what information OrlandoFuneralServices.com (“we”) collects when you use this website, and how it is used. Last updated: September 2026.
Information you give us
- Contact form. When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message by email. We use this only to reply and to correct or improve the website. We do not sell it. Please do not send sensitive personal information.
- Email signup. If you sign up for our planning checklist or emails, your email address (and first name, if you provide it) is stored by our email service provider, AWeber, together with the page you signed up from. We use it only to send the emails you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not add anyone to our list without their consent.
Planning tools
Our calculators, checklists and worksheets run entirely in your browser. What you enter in the tools is not sent to us or stored by us. We may record that a tool was used (for example, “cost calculator completed” and the general option chosen) through analytics, without your personal details.
Analytics and cookies
- Google Analytics 4. When enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and which buttons are clicked (for example, clicks to call our sponsor or to visit an affiliate store). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare adds a privacy-focused analytics script that measures page views and page performance without using cookies.
- Security and performance. The website is delivered through Cloudflare and protected by a security plugin (Wordfence). These services may process your IP address and set technical cookies to protect the site from attacks and spam.
- reCAPTCHA. Our contact page uses Google reCAPTCHA to block automated spam. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google; Google’s privacy policy and terms apply.
- Spam filtering. Form submissions and comments may be checked by Akismet, a spam-filtering service.
- Link tracking. Some of our own short links (for example links to our sponsor) record click counts, which may include IP address and browser information.
Affiliate links
Some links are affiliate links, including links to Amazon through the Amazon Associates program. When you click one, the merchant may set cookies to track that the visit came from our website so we can receive a commission. The merchant’s own privacy policy applies to what you do on its site. Sponsor links
Links to our sponsor, Postell’s Mortuary, include tracking parameters that tell Postell’s that you arrived from this website. We do not share your personal information with Postell’s. If you call or contact Postell’s, your communication is with Postell’s directly.
Embedded content and third-party sites
Pages may link to other websites (for example government sites). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
Children
This website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Ask us to delete information you sent us through the contact form by contacting us via the contact page.
